COATS FOR BOXWOOD
SOCCER 2023
This year we are lucky enough to serve 67 players within Boxwood Soccer Club, but this also means we need your help to get more people involved in our mission to build up the East Carver Heights community. Now until December 15, we are accepting new coats for our children. Coats can be shipped to East Carver Heights CDC or dropped off at St. Thomas Episcopal Church, to sign up and help us make this Christmas one to remember for our children, click the button below. BUILDING COMMUNITY
ONE NEIGHBOR AT A TIME
East Carver Heights Community Development Corporation builds relationship and community partnerships to connect children and families with opportunities and resources to live abundant lives.
OUR
PURPOSE
ECHCDC is designed for children and families who are at-risk in the Columbus, GA area. These children and their families who have been exposed to a high level of crime and violence grow to believing these are normal parts of life.

ECHCDC goal is to help break the cycle of violence and poverty by getting children to believe in themselves and giving them the proper tools to succeed in life.

The children of today are our future. Help them build a brighter tomorrow by donating to our cause and programs that focuses on building environment where all children will be able to thrive in a violence-free world.
HOW WE WORK
We knew that for our community to thrive, we needed to support children and their families and grow relationships. We decided to create multiple programs that would help us do just that.

Boxwood Soccer was the first program to join ECHCDC we wanted to help create an equal level playing field for all children, regardless of their income level.

Path to Shine® is an after school program that allows children (K-5) to come together and learn on a weekly basis. With a focus on reading, homework assistance and building confidence Path to Shine is designed to help each child grow as an individual while learning in a fun and safe environment.

At Boxwood F.A.N.N (Friends and Neighbors Network), we believe that everyone has the right to food and nutritional education. We're not a food bank—we're a community of people who work together to ensure that everyone can live with dignity and respect.

Our ESL programs target English language development, including listening, speaking, reading, and writing skills, through academic content instruction that is linguistically and culturally responsive
CONNECTING WITH THE BEST PARTNERS
We are all uniquely connected by our community. This means that the decisions we make impact those around us and their lives in a very real way. When you choose to support our local causes all funds donation go back into our community, we can work together to build and strengthen a network of connection that empowers everyone in the community.
